Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and growing up in and around the Pittsburgh area/Western Pennsylvania, I was lucky to have had front-row seats to the exampled and unparalleled work ethic of small/medium businesses, both blue and white collar. These business owners not only took pride in their business, but they also took pride in their dedication to care for their employees and their families. My husband and I are now living just outside of New Orleans, LA, for many years.
I have enjoyed a long career in Finance Management. Over the past 5 years, I have been in the Fintech space assisting businesses with Working Capital solutions. This has allowed me the opportunity to help similar small/medium-sized businesses, which I view as my biggest mentors, in not only surviving Covid but evolving through it.
There is a lot of uncertainty, miscommunication, and apprehension when it comes to available resources for companies who are likely still suffering the direct consequences of Covid.
